Butterfly Wood is the title of this artwork. The Butterfly Wood is a negative painting – the entire canvas was painted black and then the colours were placed leaving the black outlines to eventually produce the painting. Making the branches look like butterfly wings
The artwork is painted on acrylic canvas board and has been framed in a plain mat black. Outside edge of the framed artwork measures 45 x 33 cm.
